Revolutionaries Die Young

Revolutionary defined means, "radically new or innovative; outside or beyond established procedure, principles, etc."

The constant Buzz since yesterday has been the passing of 56 year old Steve Jobs, who was the mastermind behind the revolutionary technolgy of Apple.  I was never been one to stand in line overnight of for hours at a time until the store opened to get the latest, iPad, Mac, iPhone, iPod etc., etc., etc.  However, we do have several Apple products enbedded into our household. Personally, I've always been a Windows Woman. I do though, recognize a revolutionary and genius when I see one.

Unfortunately, revolutionaries like Jobs, are here on this earth only long enough to do whatever it was they were sent here to do to change people's lives.  Steve Jobs can now be included in the long list of the out of the box thinkers that have left us suddenly, Martin Luther King Jr., Tupac, John F. Kennedy, Michael Jackson, and even Princess Diana are amongst those whom I would include in this group. All of them, died too young. I wonder if they they knew their time on this earth was so limited?  Perhaps that is why they worked double time to do what most people wouldn't achieve in a lifetime.

We all watched the announcement several weeks ago that Jobs was stepping down from his position as CEO at Apple due to the progression illness, but hoped that the enevitable wouldn't come so soon.  I'm sure at that time he knew his fate.

The obvious message is to live each moment of your life like you won't see another.  I think Jobs was the closest thing to a perfect example of this that I've seen in a while.

For now, we've lost another great one.  In the meantime, we wait until the the next genious comes along to change our lives again for the better.

Thanks for reading.

Many Blessings,
