Fight For Air Climb

Today my team and I are participating for the first time in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb. We have a goal to climb all 63 floors (1400 steps) of the 2nd tallest building in DTLA.

On a more personal note, I am climbing for the following people that have touched my life, who have suffered from some form of lung cancer or lung disease.

MORRIS CLAYTONDied of Lung Cancer
MICHAEL P. SKINNER SR.Died of Emphysema
HARDING LOVINGLung Transplant Recipient
EVERETT CLAYTONFormer Asthma Sufferer

AND ME!!!

We have raised $2,170 as of today.  Thanks to all of you who have donated!
Every dollar we have raised enables the American Lung Association to continue its work to educate kids on how to manage their asthma and to not use tobacco, to research cures and better treatments for lung cancer and other lung diseases and to advocate for better local, state, and national policies to protect all of us from the harmful effects of air pollution and secondhand smoke.

Click here to view the team page for CareConnect Climbers or to make a tax-deductible donation.  It’s not too late!

Otherwise, wish me and our entire team good luck on today’s Climb

TEAM: Ajamu Azibo; Angela Clayton; Denise Escobedo; Gina Ferrigno; Youssef Helmy; Stephanie Larson; Carly Lawrence; Alicia Pucci; John Smith Jr. and Tran Thu.
